This case deals with the approach to the presentation of acute gastrointestinal bleeding in a paediatric patient, when there is a high level of suspicion for a diagnosis that is "frequently suspected, often looked for, seldom found". The case covers history taking skills, physical examination, initial management, investigations and management of a patient presenting with the most common complication of a particular congenital anomaly.
