eMedici is proud to support students from the first day of medical school through to fellowship exams and beyond. Over 50,000 users, contributors, editors, reviewers, and academics internationally have helped create eMedici’s vibrant community of practice. Medical students, junior doctors, registrars, and international medical graduates are the backbone of Australia’s healthcare. We would love for Ambassadors to join us and help continue to grow a connected, supportive community that enriches medical education nationwide.

Role Overview

The eMedici Ambassador Program brings together learners who are passionate about strengthening innovative medical education. The program runs on a calendar year basis.

We are looking for passionate advocates of the high-quality medical education that eMedici delivers to act as ground-level leaders within their education or clinical communities. eMedici Ambassadors will champion evidence-based learning, support their peers, promote eMedici educational resources, and help shape the future of medical education across Australia, Aotearoa, and internationally. This role offers structured opportunities to develop teaching, leadership, communication, and event-facilitation skills, making it a valuable addition to your CV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a local super-user and representative for eMedici.

  • Promote eMedici at events and through peer networks using provided materials.

  • Host or facilitate study groups, quiz nights, and local exam-prep sessions using the eMedici platform.

  • Share platform updates, new product releases, and feature announcements with your community.

  • Participate in beta-testing of new features and contribute feedback to support product improvement.

  • Pitch your own ideas for potential eMedici content or platform development

  • Contribute to blog posts about how eMedici supports your education or clinical context

  • Track your activities to receive formal recognition, CPD hours, and certification.

  • Commitment on a calendar year basis, with potential renewal in January of each year

Ideal Ambassador Candidates

  • Medical students at all levels, junior doctors, registrars preparing for exams, and international medical graduate doctors are all eligible to be eMedici Ambassadors for their education or clinical community.

  • Engaged learners who have used or are eager to use eMedici.

  • Strong verbal and written communicators with good organisational skills.

  • Individuals willing to represent eMedici in their education or clinical context and engage with peers.

  • Applicants interested in leadership, education, event organisation, and giving resource feedback.

  • Prior education or MedSoc involvement is helpful but not required.

  • Social media presence relevant to your education or clinical context required to facilitate communication.

  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling, monthly basis.

  • Applicants who are shortlisted will be invited to interview on a periodic basis.
